9 of the best months ever!

London Grace is my favorite little person.  She is so fun and happy.  We are always getting comments on how easy-going and friendly she is.  She is turning into a Daddy's girl--she gets so excited when Dan walks into the room, squealing and bouncing up and down with excitement.  Her favorite thing to do is EAT.  She always wants to try a little bit of what we are eating.  Last night we were at a Christmas party and she wouldn't rest until we let her try a nibble of our cheesecake...and then was constantly begging for more.  I guess she has a sweet tooth like her mommy.

She is walking along furniture, but still won't walk with us holding her hands.  I guess she figures it's faster to just have us carry her.  She has tried a few times to push herself up to her feet without the assistance of furniture, but she's not quite strong enough yet.

She will say "Mama" and "Dada", but I don't know if she really knows what it means.  Dan always points out that she says "dada" when she is excited, and says "mama" when she's upset. I told him that means she knows who to count in a crisis.  Sometimes she crawls around looking for me and cries, "Mamamamamama."  So I dunno, maybe it is clicking that I am Mama.  But hopefully someday she can say it in a happy voice.

London was the perfect sleeper for the longest time, but lately she has been fighting naps and bedtime...and she often wakes up in the middle of the night and won't go back to sleep until she's in bed with us.  I've decided one of my New Year's resolutions is to get her back on a schedule.  Seriously though, other than the sleeping issues, I don't have much to complain about.

She's quickly becoming my sweet little girl instead of my sweet little baby.  But she also just gets more and more fun, so I think I'm ok with that.

I have the gift of gab and eat. The last one is my favorite though :)

I ate my Mom's whole plate of fried catfish as a one year old. She had to order another plate off of the menu and keep me away from that.

I hope she starts saying your name in a happy voice too!

So fun to see her growing and moving about .. she is such a darling little girl and she is so friendly to everyone. I loved getting to hold her and love her when you were here. Her little smile just melts you away!
