The past couple weeks have been surreal. For almost our entire marriage, Dan has been a dental student. Now...he's not. He's a real, actual dentist. THIS IS MADNESS! Add that to the fact that we are now living on the other side of the country, and I feel like I need a break from life changing events.
I am beyond proud of Dan. This is a goal he has had for over ten years, and he has worked so hard to accomplish this. Not only did he just accomplish it, he made it into an honor society that only accepts the top 12% of the graduating class. Smarty pants. The night before the graduation ceremony, we attended an awards banquet for the class of 2014. Dan was inducted into the honor society and also sworn in as a captain in the US Army.

Graduation the next day was outside, and it was HOT. The week before this had been nice and cool, but the weather decided to heat right back up, just in time for graduation! I felt bad that Dan had to wear those big, velvety robes, but he survived. And now, I present to you, Dentist Dan!

So proud of our Captain Doctor Dan! He had this wonderful goal and he did it! And you looked so beautiful .. The first time I got to see you in your Christmas dress from Grammie...so cute and retro! Can't wait to see you in July! ♥♥♥♥
