A Peek into Miss London's room.

I've been meaning to do this post for awhile now.  There are still a few things I'd like to add to London's room (like an alphabet wall and a growth chart), but they can wait until she's a little bit older.

Welcome!

Sign on London's door.
This room is filled with handmade goodies and hand-me-downs from when I was little girl.  It's a room bubbling over with love for this sweet little one.

The little print next to her books says, "Reading gives us a place to go when we have to stay where we are."

I was pretty proud of this wall.  The two prints with quotes I made myself.  The top right says, "Be your beautiful self." The bottom right is a quote from A Little Princess.  The yellow things are just some fabric I stapled over shoe box lids.

If you follow my pinterest boards, you might recognize some of my inspiration come to life.

My mother made the quilt on the rocker.

My mom's friend Karie made this beautiful pillow.

Thanks Paige, for the lovely print with all London's info!

I made the stitchery (? not sure what to call it...) on the left.  It's the lyrics to I am a Child of God, interspersed with facts about London's birth.  It reads: I am a Child of God / London Grace / And He has sent me here / March 21, 2012 / Has given me an earthly home / Pasadena, California / With parents kind and dear / Daniel and Lauren

I worked hard on creating this space, and even though it isn't perfect, I hope it is a place full of items she can treasure forever, and things that may help her see just how much she is treasured and loved.

London has an adorable room! It should be in a magazine.

It's all beautiful and so many of these things can grow with her and will look great in her room as she grows older. You are so talented and such a great Mom. I love you...
