I've posted a few times before about Sycamore Canyon.  I've walked part of the trail a few times, and even biked the whole 9 miles once before.  But last Friday marked the first time I ever hiked the whole thing.

My sister and I spent our afternoon singing Disney songs (mostly Pocahontas) at the top of our lungs, as we wound our way through the hills toward the beach.  Even though I am still sore, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

After almost four hours in the canyon, we froze our rear-ends off at the beach waiting for our ride.  Which ended up being ok, because hot turkey noodle soup and hot chocolate and a hot tub were all waiting for us at home.  Adventure days are always the best kind of days.

The relationships you have with your siblings are so special! My sibling situation is really complicated. I hope when we have children they are as close as y'all are.

The views are beautiful and I thought it looked like the route you biked.

This looks like so much fun and makes me wish I had a sister to drag on hikes with me! Nine miles sounds like a big accomplishment to me, way to go girls! :)
Hope you're having a great day!
