Once again, I have dropped the ball on blogging. But I promise, it's not like I've just been sitting around watching TV and eating bons-bons all day long. ...Ok, maybe I've done that once or twice, but we've done lots of other stuff too! I've been prepping for baby, deep cleaning/organizing my house, throwing wild parties, teaching London her ABC's and the names of family members, cheering on my BYU Cougars, shopping for cheap girls clothes because we obvs are going to need a million of those if we want them to last, and oh yeah, then I turned 24, so that was super cool and fun too.
But before I get to all that...we had one last beautiful day in San Francisco! It was a Saturday, so our wonderful hosts drove us across the Golden Gate Bridge and spent the day in Napa with us! The boys went golfing while the ladies hit up the outlets. Oh my, I cannot wait to put my girls in the cute-ness I bought them for Christmas. P.S. London is already a little shopper. She kept wanting to try on hats/glasses/anything she could get her hands on. And she wanted to hold anything we picked out. Silly girly, I love her so.

Oh look! A rare picture of all three of us!! |
On Sunday we drove home, and we decided to take the scenic route. Dan took some convincing (the scenic route took almost twice as long as the more direct way...) But I don't think I could live with myself if I lived in California and never drove down the Pacific Coast Highway. And I'm so glad we did it! (Even though I barfed...yay pregnancy!)

We stopped at this cute little shop for lunch. |

Otherworldly, isn't it? |
|
Exploring. We could hear seals (or sea lions??) barking, but we never found them. |
|
Look how clear the water is down in the shallows! |
Beautiful isn't even a sufficient word to cover these views. I think I gasped with delight every time we came around a bend. I wish we could dedicate a whole other vacation just to exploring all the sights along the PCH! Make that several vacations. Maybe when our kids are a bit older?? I'll just let the pictures do the talking.

Oh by the way, "I descended a dusty gravel ridge/beneath the Bixby Canyon Bridge." Living out Death Cab for Cutie lyrics in real life. So that's a big check off my bucket list. |

Snapped this while driving, sorry if it's a little blurry! |

Hearst Castle...and this was as close as we got. We were on a time crunch and we didn't have reservations for the tour. Bummer. |

Fog. |

A London meltdown, forever immortalized in this photo! |
Here's to many more California Adventures before we move!

Each and every picture is amazing! I want to comment on them all!
Hearst Castle up on that hill is so pretty.
Love London's tantrum picture, lol.
The fog (side note - my fingers automatically just typed fox instead of fog, haha) - is divine.
We never drove the PCH but now I reeeeeaaallly want to! Looks so beautiful!
Such beautiful photos! Every picture I see of the beach in Northern California is always amazing. I think I have some convincing to do!
